Fans of the hit HBO drama Euphoria have been eagerly awaiting the premiere of its second season, in part to see what noteworthy fashion moments the new season brings. The first episode on Sunday night did not disappoint, sparking an uptick in fashion searches for the characters’ outfits.

Searches for specific fashion items worn by characters in the first episode have skyrocketed 48 hours after the program premiered, according to Love the Sales, a fashion e-commerce aggregator. Akna Store’s black cutout dress, which actress Alexa Demi, who played Maddy, wore to a New Year’s Eve party, boosted searches by 890 percent. Her character’s AminaMuaddi’s lace-up shoes, which she wore with this outfit, caused a 125 percent increase in requests for “lace-up shoes.”

Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sidney Sweeney) begin an unexpected (and apparently insane) relationship that ends in a stressful bathroom confrontation with Cassie’s best friend and Maddie Nate’s ex if you’ve seen the Euphoria season 2 premiere (or haven’t yet) seen). but I love spoilers) (Alex Demi). The entire toilet scene made viewers nervous from the start, and it turned out that viewers weren’t the only ones who were scared – Sydney, who in an interview with Decider described the episode as “terrifying,” experienced sheer horror, a similar answer.

Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, had a New Year’s Eve look that influenced her fashion search. House of CB’s blue dress generated a 143 percent surge in searches for “blue strappy dresses.”

Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, was impressed with her MaroskePeech swimsuit, which resulted in a 53 percent spike in searches for mesh tops.

Searches for “puff sleeves” increased 90%, citing clothing that actress Barbie Ferreira and Maud Apatow wore to celebrate New Year.

When it premiered in the summer of 2019, Euphoria was an instant hit, influencing fashion and beauty trends with bold clothing and vibrant and graphic makeup. According to a broadcast on Sunday Night, these stunning moments of fashion and beauty will continue throughout Season 2.
